Maybe you are wondering what the greatest self hypnosis technique to get rid of a craving for food is?
Many people have tried dieting and losing weight. And while some of them were successful in shedding those extra pounds, very few of them were able to get rid of the craving for food. This is because either they did not really know why they had this craving in the first place or, even worse, they were not even aware that they had a craving. Either way, this is a problem because you will never get rid of a craving unless you know why you have it.
However, it is not just people that crave food. One case came before me where a patient cured his craving in just eight weeks. Moreover, he had a complete cure rate of his craving this time, which is something I had never been able to accomplish. The person I helped cured his craving by essentializing two things that caused his craving: the fear of having a late night snack and the urge to feel something sweet after having dinner. When we got to this part, he felt completely relieved to learn that the only way to truly cure his cravings is by trying to ignore his unconscious mind. If you would like to cure your craving and finally succeed in making this a life long skill, then it will help to take some cues from people who have done it. So, what do you do?
Well, one thing you can do to cure your craving is to do some cooking. Yes, cooking. Anyway, if you did some cooking, you are getting closer to knowing why your craving exists in the first place. At least for me, cooking gets me closer to food although one might call it a bland term. Whereas cooking was a food that was tasteless and chewy, I could now enjoy it as something that was delicious, thanks to cooking and eating. (I was also reading food science books, not something that I ever dreamed of, even though I am a student.) Cooking uses a lot more muscles than I can do when I drink after consuming something - And, by the way things like cooking and making love with your spouse are a very common practice among educated women. But I digress. So, make the food you love tasty.
Another cure comes in the form of reading. Yes, reading. Reading and thinking about the food you are eating is an excellent cure. The more you read about a topic, the more true it now seems. Cravings can be mental or physical or both. No no. You don't listen to them if they are mental. No, you listen to them if they are physical. Think I of the food you are craving and visualize it. Put aside your emotions and visualize the texture and color of it. Take in more healthy foods while you are at it. Food that has delicate crystal-like qualities. And, while you are at it, do not forget to love yourself more and be kind to yourself. Breathe into your self and say, "I like you the way you are. I like the way you are. I like the way you are and I do not like the way you get bigger and bigger each and every other day. I love you and I do all I can to stay your right where I and you are. You are the most irreplaceable person in the whole world and I will do everything I can to make sure that you stay around. So, unless you want to stay a fat person, eat less and exercise more. You can spend your money on diet programs or on buying books about food - if you really want to spend more, then do it.
